All Access Volunteers in Partnership with H.O.L.A. (Health & Opportunities for Latin America) will be hosting a Charity Fundraiser Golf Tournament on Saturday October 2, 2010 at the Royal Ontario Golf Club just west of Toronto, Canada.
We are organizing this golf tournament in an effort to raise funds, 100% of which will go directly to the health and education of children at the Jungle School. Currently there are 96 students attending regular classes at the school, up from 56 last year. Many students attending the Jungle School, walk over 2 hours each way just to go to school each day. The school provides a nutritious lunch every day, for many students, it is the only meal they will receive that day.
We anticipate a minimum of 120 golfers, with hole-in-one prizes that include: a 2010 Ford Mustang and a new Honda motorcycle. There will be a shotgun start at 1pm Saturday afternoon (registration 12pm), with the final foursome finishing at approximately 6pm. On course competitions will include; hole-in-one, closest to the pin, longest drive, closest to the line, and lowest score. Afterward, there will be a dinner with guest speakers, and prizes to be awarded via raffles and draws. At this time, we are working to secure notable sports celebrities, past & present, who will be in attendance to speak with golfers, sign autographs and take pictures. Further details soon to follow.
